This gathering is offered in concert with the Wild and Scenic Film Festival as a space for festival participants to be with and share their experiences with the films. There is no expectation or requirement that participants have attended the films. During the Festival, we are also hosting an in person gathering in the activist center on February 15 as well as a half-day in person gathering in Nevada City on February 17.

How might we stay attuned to what’s ours to do as we witness and feel the impacts of a world in crisis? In this half-day community gathering, we will engage in transformative practices and rituals designed to support us in exploring layers of grief and painful emotions so that we may metabolize and repattern our relationships with our emotional landscapes.

Parenting for the Great Turning is a deeply interactive in-person group experience, co-facilitated by Jo delAmor and Frieda Nixdorf. It is designed to strengthen and transform our relationships to ourselves, our children and the world in which we are raising them.
